Could Cristiano Ronaldo single handedly win the World Cup.
What a performance again from the World`s most complete player.
If Karanka is to continue with signing over 30`s or Portuguese players, please can we have him Mr Marinakis, if only for 1 season? Maybe next year for our return to the PL eh?

Watched Spain v Portugal last night, had a little grin to myself when I thought about the two Portuguese lads we have now. What an inspiration Ronaldo is to them. If they strive to be like him, we’ll have two cracking players in our side!

Well at least England got the dreaded first game out of the way with a win, but boy did they make hard work of it. Missed far too many chances. Thank goodness for Harry Kane.

If it wasn’t for Kane we wouldn’t even be an average team I’m afraid. Defence had me in bits. Hopefully we can build on a good result. I think will beat Panama, negotiate a bore draw with Belgium and then lose the next game to anyone good enough to breach our defence more than once

Anyone who remembers 1986 must love the sight of a very overweight Maradonna crying. I certainly do.

A bit too young to appreciate the 86 World Cup, but I’m certainly not crying for the Argies tonight.

100% disagree on that one.....sorry Brynn. It may have been debatable with other players in his time, but with all his shenanigans during his career imo he can't even be in the running now. What about a player who you never really hear about in the papers, contributes lots of his wealth to Charity causes without a fuss and even donated many of his awards to be auctioned off to raise money. Oh! And a fantastic scoring record year after year. Step forward.......... Christiano Ronaldo

Christiano Ronaldo What shenanigans? and i was saying he was the best player of all time not that he gave the most to charity. Ronaldo is a top play no doubt about it but for natural ability he doesn't come close to Maradona. The modern game has changed to protect the skilful player, Maradona got kicked from pilar to post.
